He that would save his life shall lose it; and he, that loseth his life for my sake, shall find it.

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I tell you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration, when the son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel: yea and every one who hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, shall receive an hundred-fold, and shall inherit eternal life.

Then Peter said to Him, Behold we have left all, and followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundred-fold: now in this time indeed, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands with persecutions; but in the world to come life everlasting.

Then said Peter, Behold, we have quitted all, and followed Thee. And He said unto them, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive manifold more even in this life, and in the world to come life everlasting.

for he that would save his life, shall lose it; but he that would lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, shall save it.

and whosoever will venture his life, shall preserve it.

nor ribaldry, nor buffoonery, nor wanton jesting, which are not meet: but rather giving of thanks.

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious in nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known before God.read more.
