And after that, he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, "Follow me." And he left all, rose up, and followed him. And that same Levi made him a great feast at home in his own house. And there was a great company of publicans, and of others that sat at meat with him.read more.
And the scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, "Why eat ye and drink ye, with publicans and sinners?" Jesus answered and said unto them, "They that are whole, need not of the physician: but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous: but the sinners to repentance."
Jesus answered and said unto them, "Go and show John what ye have heard and seen: The blind see, the halt go, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are risen again, and the glad tidings is preached to the poor.
Then were brought to him young children, that he should put his hands on them and pray. And his disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said unto them, "Suffer the children, and forbid them not to come to me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." And when he had put his hands on them, he departed thence.
And they brought children to him that he should touch them. And his disciples rebuked those that brought them. When Jesus saw that, he was displeased, and said to them, "Suffer the children to come unto me and forbid them not. For of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say to you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a child, he shall not enter therein."read more.
And he took them up in his arms, and put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
They brought unto him also babes, that he should touch them. When the disciples saw that, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, "Suffer children to come unto me, and forbid them not. For of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever receiveth not the kingdom of God, as a child: he shall not enter therein."
And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, and was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was with him.
And all they bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words, which proceeded out of his mouth, and said, "Is not this Joseph's son?"
And Jesus said to him, "This day is health come unto this house, forasmuch as he also is become the child of Abraham. For the son of man is come to seek, and to save that which was lost."
Then said Jesus, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
which preaching was published throughout all Jewry, and began in Galilee, after the baptism preached by John; How God had anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy ghost, and with power; which Jesus went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devils, for God was with him.
Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.
Hereby are we assured of love: because he left his life for us: And therefore we ought also to give our lives for our brethren.
And of his fullness have all we received, even grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
But God, which is rich in mercy through his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead by sin, hath quickened us together in Christ - for by grace are ye saved -
which in time past were not a people, yet are now the people of God, which were not under mercy: but now have obtained mercy.

The righteousness, no doubt, which is good before God cometh by the faith of Jesus Christ: unto all, and upon all them that believe. There is no difference: For all have sinned, and lack the praise that is of valour before God: but are justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
Because therefore that we are justified by faith we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom we have a way in, through faith, unto this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the praise that shall be given of God.
Which spared not his own son, but gave him for us all: How shall he not with him give us all things also?
I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ, that in all things ye are made rich by him, in all learning and in all knowledge: even as the testimony of Jesus Christ was confirmed in you:
Nevertheless, all things are of God, which hath reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the office to preach the atonement. For God was in Christ, and made agreement between the world and himself, and imputed not their sins unto them: and hath committed to us the preaching of the atonement.
I despise not the grace of God: For if righteousness come of the law, then is Christ died in vain.
Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in all doctrine and good doing.
when before I was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and a tyrant. But I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly, through unbelief: Neverthelater, the grace of our Lord was more abundant, with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to make a satisfaction for our sins.
