I can of Myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous; because I seek not My Own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me.
not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reckon anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God;
For whether we were beside ourselves, it was to God; or whether we are of sober mind, it is for you.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I do testify concerning Myself, My testimony is true; because I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye know not whence I came, or whither I go.
But I make not my soul of any value as dear to myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify the Gospel of the grace of God.
(for I was wishing myself to be a curse from Christ) for my brethren, my kinsmen according to flesh;
For what I accomplish, I know not; for not what I wish, this do I practice; but what I hate, this I do.
Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself, that ye might be exalted, because I proclaimed to you the Gospel of God without cost?
For I spake not from Myself; but the Father, Who sent Me, Himself hath given Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This commandment I received from My Father.
But I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage; lest, by any means, after having preached to others, I myself should be rejected.
