The strong One, whose work is perfect: for all his ways are right; a God of truth and without iniquity, just and upright is he.
And a certain prince asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why dost thou call me good? No one is good except one, that is, God.
And he replied, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name that I AM before thee; and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and will show clemency on whom I will show clemency.
And the LORD descended in a cloud and was with him there proclaiming the name of I AM. And as the LORD passed by before him, he proclaimed, I AM, I AM strong, merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, letting go of iniquity and rebellion and sin; and by no means will I absolve the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the sons' sons, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Cheth Good and upright is the LORD: therefore he will teach sinners in the way. Teth He will cause the humble to pass through the judgment, and the meek he will teach his way.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth. Let every soul submit itself to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God, and the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God, and those that resist shall receive condemnation to themselves. For the magistrates are not a terror unto those who do good, but to the doer of evil. for he is a minister of God for thy good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is a minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil. Therefore it is necessary that ye be subject, not only for punishment, but also for conscience sake. For this cause ye also pay them tribute, for they are God's ministers, attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, exercise yourselves in these things.
Admonish them to be subject to dominion and power, and to persuade those who have authority, that they be quick unto every good work.
Therefore, be subject to every human ordinance that is of the Lord, whether it be to a king or to a superior, and unto governors as unto those that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those that do well.
For this cause God gave them up unto shameful affections, for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature; and likewise also the males, leaving the natural use of the females, burned in their lust one toward another, males with males committing nefarious works and receiving in themselves the recompense that proceeded from their error.
I the LORD search the heart; I try the kidneys, even to give each man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.
The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him who is righteous, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him who is wicked. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed and keep all my statutes and live according to judgment and righteousness, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to everyone according to his deeds: to those who persevered in well doing, glory and honour and incorruption, to those who seek eternal life;read more.
but unto those that are contentious and do not obey the truth, but are persuaded by unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. Tribulation and anguish shall be upon every human soul that does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek; but glory, honour, and peace to everyone that works good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. for all have sinned and are made destitute of the glory of God,
They search out iniquities; they perfect and put into effect that which they have invented in the inward thought of each one of them and that which they have devised in their heart.
For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will invent iniquity to work unrighteousness and to speak scornfully against the LORD, leaving the soul of the hungry empty and taking away the drink of the thirsty.
The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who shall know it?
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a perverse understanding, to do those things which are not convenient, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,read more.

Who having understood the righteousness of God, they did not understand that those who do such things are worthy of death, not only those that do the same, but even those who encourage those that do them.
because the prudence of the flesh is enmity against God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, neither indeed can it.
