For what have I to do with judging those who are without? Do not ye judge those who are within? But those who are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.
and to make it your aim to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we charged you; that ye walk becomingly towards those without, and that ye may have need of nothing.
And it is needful also that he have an honorable testimony from those without, lest he fall into reproach and a snare of the Devil.
