but I say to you, that every one who looks upon a woman, to lust after her, already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But each one is tempted, when by his own desire he is drawn away and enticed. Then the desire, having conceived, brings forth sin; and sin, when completed, brings forth death.

These are fountains without water, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved. For, uttering great swelling words of vanity, they entice, in desires of the flesh, by their lasciviousness, those just escaping from those who live in error;

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye will not fulfill the desire of the flesh. But flee youthful desires; and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those calling upon the Lord out of a pure heart.

For the love of money is a root of all the evils; which some reaching after wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
