On these two commandments

This is the first commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Honour thy father and mother, and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

And I say, through the grace which is given to me, to every one that is among you, not to think of himself above what he ought to think, but to think soberly, according to the measure of faith which God hath distributed to every one.

Now no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also the Lord the church.

Though I might have confidence: if any man think that he may have confidence in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day,

Know ye not, that ye are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man destroy the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

All things are lawful for me; but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats are for the belly, and the belly for meats; yet God will destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.read more.
Know ye not, that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. Know ye not, that he who is joined to an harlot is one body? For they two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body. Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own: For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God with your body and your spirit, which are God's.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? Now ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

On whom ye also are built together, for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be rejected, being received with thanksgiving.

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low; because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

Yea, the members of the body, which appear to be weaker, are much more necessary. And those which we think to be the less honourable parts of the body, these we surround with more abundant honour, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need; but God hath tempered the body together, giving more abundant honour to that which lacked:read more.
That there might be no schism in the body, but that the members might have the same care for each other:

For this is our rejoicing, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more especially toward you.

He that speaketh of himself, seeketh his own glory; but he that seekth the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Pray for us; for we trust we have a good conscience, desiring to behave ourselves well in all things.

But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the preaching might be fully known, even that all nations might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

That every one of you know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

serious, prudent, sound in faith, love, patience:

For if any man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

And a certain woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grown worse, Having heard of Jesus, came in the croud behind, and touched his garment.read more.
For she said, If I but touch his clothes, I shall be whole.

(And behold a woman who had had a flux of blood, twelve years, coming behind him, touched the hem of his garment. For she said within herself, if I but touch his garment, I shall be whole. And Jesus turning and seeing her, said, Daughter, take courage; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.)

And a woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, and had spent all her living upon Physicians, neither could be healed by any, Came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?read more.
And Jesus said, Some one hath touched me; for I know that virtue is gone out of me. And the woman, seeing that she was not hid, came trembling, and falling down before him, declared to him before all the people, for what cause she had touched him, and how she had been healed immediately. And he said to her, Daughter, take courage: thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

And he divided to them his substance. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, and took a journey into a far country, and there squandered away his substance, living riotously. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields, to feed swine.read more.
And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine ate: and no man gave to him.

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten lepers, who stood afar off: And they lifted up their voice and said, Jesus, master, have mercy on us.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, ye who are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father, the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers, the younger as sisters, with all purity.

And some, that are wavering, convince; Some save, snatching them out of the fire;
