For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? Is not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.

And he answered him to never a word, so that the governour marvelled greatly.

Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing his hour was come to pass out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end.

But he answering said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Yet for this cause I obtained mercy, that on me the chief Jesus Christ might shew all long-suffering, for a pattern to them who should hereafter believe in him to life everlasting.

And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them; but his mother kept all these things in her heart.
