Of which I was made a minister according to the dispensation of God, which is given me towards you, that I might fully declare the word of God: even that mystery which was hid from former ages and generations, but is now manifested to his saints:
He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.

having made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure, which He had before purposed in Himself: that in the dispensation of the fulness of times, He might reduce all things, both in heaven and on earth, under one head in Christ:
when ye read it, ye may perceive my knowledge in the mystery of Christ,) which in other generations was not made known to men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be co-heirs, and of the same body, and joint-partakers of his promise in Christ, by the gospel:read more.
of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God conferred on me by the effectual operation of his power. On me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace bestowed, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ; that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly regions; according to the ancient purpose, which He executed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
to whom God would make known the rich glory of this mystery, among the gentiles; which is this, that Christ is in you the hope of glory:
For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me.
And going a little farther, He prostrated himself, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.
And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless, not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Father, if thou art willing take away this cup from me---nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.
Jesus saith unto them, My food is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish his work.
I can do nothing of my self: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father that hath sent me.
then said I, Lo I come, as in the volume of the book it is written of me, to do thy will, O God."
grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father:
(as ye yourselves also know,) Him being given up by the determinate counsel and fore-knowlege of God ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain.
particularly for kings, and all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all piety and virtue. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour:
who is willing that all men should be saved, and therefore come to the knowledge of the truth.
Even so it is not the will of your heavenly Father, that any one of these little ones should be lost.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life: for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved by Him.
The Lord is not slow as to his promise (as some count it slowness) but is long-suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
they gathered together again, and one of them, an interpreter of the law, propounded a question, to try Him, and said, Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law? And Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind: this is the first and great command.read more.

And one of the scribes, who heard them disputing, seeing that He answered them well, came to Him and asked Him, Which is the chief commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is the one Lord,
And he answered, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbor as thyself.
But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should declare the glories of Him, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
In every circumstance be thankful; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
