And there were many lamps in the upper room where they were assembled. And a young man named Eutychus, who sat in a window, falling into a deep sleep, as Paul was discoursing for a long time, sunk down and fell from the third story, and was taken up dead.

And the Lord said, Who is indeed that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his family to give out the measure of food in due season? Happy is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing. Verily I tell you, that he will set him over all that he hath. not covetous, governing his own family well, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (for if any one know not how to govern his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

to whom coming as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also are built up as living stones, a spiritual house, an holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
