A foolish man, on the same day, letteth his vexation be known, but, he that concealeth an affront, is prudent.

Heavy is a stone, and weighty is sand, - but, the vexation of a fool, is heavier than both.

Now, do not stiffen your neck, like your fathers, - stretch forth the hand unto Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary which he hath hallowed unto times age-abiding, and serve Yahweh your God, that he may turn from you the glow of his anger.

The desire of the righteous, is only good, the expectation of the lawless, is wrath.

Call, I pray thee - is there one to answer thee? Or, to which of the holy ones, wilt thou turn? For, to the foolish man, death is caused by vexation, and, the simple one, is slain by jealousy.
