For when we were still helpless, Christ at the proper time died for us ungodly men. Romans 1:18-20

For God's anger from heaven is being uncovered against all the impiety and wickedness of the men who in their wickedness are suppressing the truth; because what can be known of God is clear to their inner moral sense; for in this way God Himself has shown it to them. Forever since the creation of the world, His invisible characteristics -- His eternal power and divine nature -- have been made intelligible and clearly visible by His works. So they are without excuse,

Revelation 19:11-15

Then I saw heaven thrown open and a white horse appeared. His rider was called Faithful and True, and in justice He passes judgment and wages war. His eyes were like coals of fire. Revelation 15:1-8

Then I saw another symbol in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels bringing seven plagues which are to be the last, because with them God's wrath is completely expressed. Then I saw something that looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and standing upon the sea of glass were those who had conquered the wild beast, his statue, and the number representing his name; and they had harps that God had given them. And they were singing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God, Almighty One; upright and true your ways, O King of the ages. read more.
Who will not fear and glorify your name, O Lord? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship you, because the justice of your sentences has now been shown." After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of testimony was thrown open in heaven, and the seven angels bringing the seven plagues came out of the sanctuary. They were clothed in clean, brilliant linen and had belts of gold around their breasts. Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven bowls of gold, full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, (15:7) and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory and power of God, and no one could go into the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were at an end.

Revelation 16:1-21

Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary say to the seven angels: "Go and empty the seven bowls of God's wrath upon the earth." So the first angel went and emptied his bowl upon the earth, and horrible, painful sores broke out on the men who bore the mark of the wild beast and worshiped his statue. Then the second angel emptied his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like a dead man's, and every living thing that was in the sea died. read more.
Then the third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood. Then I heard the angel of the waters say: "You are just in passing such a sentence, you who are and were, you the Holy One. Because they have shed the blood of your people and prophets, you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it." And I heard the altar say, "Yes, Lord God Almighty! Your sentences are true and just." Then the fourth angel emptied his bowl upon the sun, and permission was given it to scorch mankind with its fiery heat, so that men were severely scorched, but they only cursed the name of God who had authority over these plagues, and would not repent and give Him glory. Then the fifth angel emptied his bowl upon the throne of the wild beast, and his kingdom was shrouded in darkness, and men in agony gnawed their tongues, and cursed the God of heaven because of their sufferings and sores, but they would not repent of what they had done. Then the sixth angel emptied his bowl upon the great river Euphrates, and its waters were dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east. Then I saw three foul spirits leap like frogs from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the wild beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet. They are the spirits of demons that perform wonders, and they go forth to the kings of the whole world, to muster them for battle on the great day of the Almighty God. (See! I am coming like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes ready, so that he may not go naked and people see his shame.) So they mustered the kings at the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Then the seventh angel emptied his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, "It is done." Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder; then there was a great earthquake, an earthquake so great that none like it had ever been since man first existed on the earth. The great city was broken into three parts; the cities of the heathen fell, and God remembered to give mighty Babylon the cup of the wine of His raging wrath, Every island vanished; not a mountain could be seen; huge hailstones as heavy as talents fell on men from heaven, and men cursed God for the plague of hail, because the torture of it was severe.

James 1:19-21

You must understand this, my dearly loved brothers. Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to get angry; for a man's anger does not produce the uprightness that God requires.
