'Stand' in the Bible

The kings of the earth take their stand,and the rulers conspire togetheragainst the Lord and His Anointed One:

I am not afraid of the thousands of peoplewho have taken their stand against me on every side.

The boastful cannot stand in Your presence;You hate all evildoers.

Lord, why do You stand so far away?Why do You hide in times of trouble?

They collapse and fall,but we rise and stand firm.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?Who may stand in His holy place?
