'Today' in the Bible

Give us today our daily bread,

Now if that is the way God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and thrown into an oven tomorrow, won't he clothe you much better you who have little faith?

he has fulfilled for us, their descendants, by raising Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.'

because we are in danger of being charged with rioting today, and there is no good reason we can give to justify this commotion."

I therefore declare to you today that I'm not responsible for the blood of any of you,

In the same way, the Messiah did not take upon himself the glory of being a high priest. No, it was God who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father."

This illustration for today indicates that the gifts and sacrifices being offered could not clear the conscience of a worshiper,

Jesus, the Messiah, is the same yesterday and today and forever!

Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a town, stay there a year, conduct business, and make money."
