Revival And Victory At Mizpah

⁵ Samuel called all the Israelites to meet at Mizpah. He told them: I will pray to Jehovah for you there. ⁶ They gathered to Mizpah, and drew water and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted on that day and said there, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the sons of Israel at Mizpah. ⁷ The Philistines heard that the Israelites gathered at Mizpah. So the Philistine rulers came to attack Israel. The Israelites heard about the Philistine plan and were afraid of them.
