Solomon's Prayer To Dedicate The Temple

³¹ that they may fear thee and walk in thy ways as long as they live upon the earth, which thou gavest to our fathers. ³² Thereto, a stranger which is not of thy people Israel, if he come from a far land for thy great name's sake and thy mighty hand and stretched out arm, and therefore come and pray at this house; ³³ thou shalt hear him from heaven thy dwelling place, and shalt do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for. That all the nations of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doeth thy people Israel: and that it may be known how that this house which I have built, is called after thy name.
