And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
And I said, ‘Lord, they themselves understand that in one synagogue after another
I used to imprison and beat those who believed in You.
When they had
driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death.And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
I thought to myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
1 Corinthians 15:9
For I am
the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
as to zeal,
a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.

Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, “These men are bond-servants of
the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.”
he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.
some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.
But this I admit to you, that according to
the Way which they call a sect I do serve the God of our fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets;
