Instructions For The Passover

⁷ Some of the blood must be put on the two doorposts and above the door of each house where the animals are to be eaten. ⁸ They shall eat the flesh that same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ⁹ Do not eat the meat raw or boiled. The entire animal, including its head, legs, and insides, must be roasted.

Unleavened Bread

Exodus 34:25

Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me at the same time you offer anything containing yeast. No part of the sacrifice at the Passover festival should be left over in the morning.

Deuteronomy 16:7

Cook and eat it in the place Jehovah your God chooses. In the morning you are to return to your tents.

Exodus 13:3

Moses said to the people: Remember this day in the month of Abib. It is the day Jehovah's mighty power rescued you from slavery in Egypt. Do not eat anything made with yeast.

Exodus 13:7

Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. No leavened bread shall be seen with you or in all your borders.

Numbers 9:11-12

You will celebrate it on the fourteenth day of the second month at dusk. Eat the Passover animal along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Deuteronomy 16:3-4

Do not eat leavened bread with it. Eat unleavened bread for seven days. It is the bread of affliction. You should remember all the days of your life the day when you came out of the land of Egypt in haste.

Exodus 1:14
