¹⁸ And he said, "I beseech thee, show me thy glory." ¹⁹ And he said, "I will make all my good go before thee, and I will be called in this name Jehovah before thee, and will show mercy to whom I show mercy, and will have compassion on whom I have compassion." ²⁰ And he said furthermore, "Thou mayest not see my face, for there shall no man see me and live."
