Hagar And Ishmael

¹⁶ and went and sat her out of sight a great way; as it were a bowshot off. For she said, "I will not see the lad die." And she sat down out of sight, and lift up her voice and wept. ¹⁷ And God heard the voice of the child. And the angel of God called Hagar out of heaven and said unto her, "What aileth thee, Hagar? Fear not, for God hath heard the voice of the child where he lieth. ¹⁸ Arise and lift up the lad, and take him in thy hand, for I will make of him a great people."
