Yahweh Refines Stubborn Israel

⁹ For my name's sake I will be patient. For my glory's sake I will hold my anger back from you, and not destroy you. ¹⁰ “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
¹¹ I did it for myself and because of my name. I will not let my name be shamed (profaned). I will not give my glory to another.
