Zion's New Identity

1 For Zion's sake therefore will I not hold my tongue, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not cease: until their righteousness break forth as a shining light, and their salvation as a burning lamp.

1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,Until her (A)righteousness goes forth like brightness,And her (B)salvation like a torch that is burning.

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

1 I will not keep silent because of Zion, and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem,(A)until her righteousness shines like a bright light(B)and her salvation, like a flaming torch.

1 "And I won't remain silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I won't stay quiet, until her vindication shines out like brightness, and her salvation like a burning torch.

5 And like as a young man taketh a daughter to marriage, so shall God marry himself unto thy sons. And as a bridegroom is glad of his bride, so shall God rejoice over thee.

5 For as a young man marries a virgin,So your sons will marry you;And as the (f)bridegroom rejoices over the bride,So your (I)God will rejoice over you.
