¹⁵ Therefore Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel says: 'Behold! I will feed this people with wormwood and give them poisoned water to drink.' ¹⁶ I will scatter them among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them until I have annihilated them.” ¹⁷ Jehovah of Hosts says: 'Consider the mourning women that they may come. Send for the wailing women that they may come!

Leviticus 26:33

I will scatter you among the nations. War will follow you. Your country will be in ruins. Your cities will be deserted.

Deuteronomy 28:64

Jehovah will scatter you among all the people of the world. He will scatter you from one end of the earth to the other. There you will serve gods made of wood and stone that neither you nor your ancestors ever knew.

Ezekiel 5:2

You should burn one-third of the hair in the fire at the center of the city when the siege is over. Take one third and strike it with the sword all around the city. The remaining one third you shall scatter to the wind. I will unsheathe a sword behind them.

Ezekiel 5:12
