Clean And Unclean Animals

⁴³ Make not your souls abominable. Make not your souls abominable with nothing that creepeth, neither make your souls unclean with them: that ye should be defiled thereby. ⁴⁴ For I am the LORD your God: be sanctified therefore that ye may be holy, for I am holy; and defile not your souls with any manner thing that creepeth upon the earth. ⁴⁵ For I am the LORD that brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: be holy therefore, for I am holy.

Leviticus 19:2
