Punishment For Disobedience

³⁸ They will be destroyed among the nations. The land of their enemies will devour them. ³⁹ So those of you who may be left will rot away because of their iniquity in the lands of your enemies; and also because of the iniquities of their forefathers they will rot away with them. ⁴⁰ However if they confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors and the treacherous things they did to oppose me,

Ezekiel 4:17

They will run out of bread and water. They will be in despair. They will waste away because of their sins.

Numbers 14:18
