1 And this is a law of the guilt-offering: it is most holy;
1 Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.
1 "This is the regulation concerning guilt offerings. They are most holy.
2 in the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering they do slaughter the guilt-offering, and its blood one doth sprinkle on the altar round about,
2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.
2 The guilt offering is to be offered in the same place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. The priest is to sprinkle some of its blood on the altar and around it.
3 and all its fat he bringeth near out of it, the fat tail, and the fat which is covering the inwards,
3 And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,
3 As to all its fat that is, the fat on the tail and the fat covering the internal organs the one presenting the sacrifice is to offer it.
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which is on them, which is on the flanks, and the redundance above the liver (beside the kidneys he doth turn it aside);
4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:
4 But the two kidneys, the fat over them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver are to be taken away, along with the kidneys.
5 and the priest hath made them a perfume on the altar, a fire-offering to Jehovah; it is a guilt-offering.
5 The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire to the Lord; it is a guilt offering.
5 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.
5 Then the priest is to offer them on the altar, incinerating them with fire as a guilt offering to the LORD.
6 Every male among the priests doth eat it; in the holy place it is eaten -- it is most holy;
6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.
6 Any male among the priests may eat it, provided that it is eaten at a sacred place as a most holy thing.
7 as is a sin-offering, so is a guilt-offering; one law is for them; the priest who maketh atonement by it -- it is his.
7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.
7 The law for the sin offering is the same as the guilt offering. It belongs to the priest who made atonement with it.
8 'And the priest who is bringing near any man's burnt-offering, the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath brought near, it is the priest's, his own;
8 And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
8 As for the priest who presents someone’s burnt offering, the hide of the burnt offering he has presented belongs to him; it is the priest’s.
8 The hide from the burnt offering brought by the offeror is to belong to the priest.
9 and every present which is baked in an oven, and every one done in a frying-pan, and on a girdel, is the priest's who is bringing it near; it is his;
9 And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it.
9 Every grain offering that's baked in the oven and everything that's prepared in a stew pan or in the frying pan belongs to the priest who offered it.
10 and every present, mixed with oil or dry, is for all the sons of Aaron -- one as another.
10 And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
10 Furthermore, every grain offering that's mixed with olive oil or that's dry will be for Aaron's sons, each one like the other."
11 And this is a law of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings which one bringeth near to Jehovah:
11 And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
11 "This is the law concerning the sacrifice for peace offerings that are to be brought to the LORD:
12 if for a thank-offering he bring it near, then he hath brought near with the sacrifice of thank-offering unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and thin unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and of fried flour cakes mixed with oil;
12 If he offers it by way of (J)thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer (K)unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers (g)spread with oil, and cakes of well stirred fine flour mixed with oil.
12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.
12 If he presents it for thanksgiving, in addition to the thanksgiving sacrifice,(c)(N) he is to present unleavened cakes(O) mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers(P) coated with oil, and well-kneaded cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.
12 If someone brings it to demonstrate thanksgiving, then he is to present along with the thanksgiving offering unleavened cakes mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers spread with olive oil, and cakes of mixed fine flour with olive oil.
13 besides the cakes, fermented bread he doth bring near with his offering, besides the sacrifice of thank-offering of his peace-offerings;
13 Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.
13 Along with the cakes of unleavened bread, he is to bring his thanksgiving offering with his peace offerings.
14 and he hath brought near out of it one of the whole offering -- a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest who is sprinkling the blood of the peace-offerings -- it is his;
14 And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
14 He is to present one from each grain offering, a separate offering to the LORD. It will belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
15 as to the flesh of the sacrifice of the thank-offering of his peace-offerings, in the day of his offering it is eaten; he doth not leave of it till morning.
15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
15 As to the meat contained in his peace offerings, it is to be eaten on the day it is offered. Nothing of it is to remain until morning."
16 And if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or free-will offering, in the day of his bringing near his sacrifice it is eaten; and on the morrow also the remnant of it is eaten;
16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
16 "If his sacrifice accompanies a fulfilled vow or is a voluntary offering, it is to be eaten on the day the offeror brings the sacrifice. Anything left over is to be eaten the next day,
17 and the remnant of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day with fire is burnt;
17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
17 but whatever remains uneaten from the meat of the sacrifice by the third day is to be incinerated.
18 and if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offerings be really eaten on the third day, it is not pleasing; for him who is bringing it near it is not reckoned; it is an abominable thing, and the person who is eating of it his iniquity doth bear.
18 So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who offers it will not be accepted, and it will not be reckoned to his benefit. It shall be an (Q)offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.
18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
18 If any of the meat of his fellowship sacrifice is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted.(W) It will not be credited to the one who presents it; it is repulsive.(X) The person who eats any of it will be responsible for his sin.(g)
18 If any of the meat of his sacrifice of peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it won't be accepted for the one who brought it. It is to be considered as refuse, and whoever eats it will bear the punishment of his iniquity."
19 'And the flesh which cometh against any unclean thing is not eaten; with fire it is burnt; as to the flesh, every clean one doth eat of the flesh;
19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
19 “Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned up. Everyone who is clean may eat any other meat.
19 "Meat that comes in contact with a ceremonially unclean thing is not to be eaten. Incinerate it instead. As for ceremonially clean meat, anyone who is clean may eat it.
20 and the person who eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings which are Jehovah's, and his uncleanness upon him, even that person hath been cut off from his people.
20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
20 But the person who eats meat from the sacrifice that belongs to the LORD, while still affected by his uncleanness, is to be eliminated from contact with his people.
21 And when a person cometh against any thing unclean, of the uncleanness of man, or of the uncleanness of beasts, or of any unclean teeming creature, and hath eaten of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings which are Jehovah's, even that person hath been cut off from his people.'
21 (T)When anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or any unclean (n)detestable thing, and eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the Lord, that person shall be cut off from his people.’”
21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
21 If someone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean, detestable(i)(Z) creature, and eats meat from the Lord’s fellowship sacrifice, that person must be cut off from his people.”
21 Any person who touches a ceremonially unclean thing whether the uncleanness pertains to human beings, animals, or to creeping things and then eats from the meat of peace offerings that belongs to the LORD is to be eliminated from contact with his people."
23 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Any fat of ox and sheep and goat ye do not eat;
23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
23 "Tell the Israelis, "You are not to eat the fat of an ox, a lamb, or a goat.
24 and the fat of a carcase, and the fat of a torn thing is prepared for any work, but ye do certainly not eat it;
24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
24 The carcass of an animal that died of its own and an animal torn by wild beast may be used for any purpose except for eating.
25 for whoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which one bringeth near a fire-offering to Jehovah, even the person who eateth hath been cut off from his people.
25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
25 If anyone eats animal fat from a fire offering presented to the Lord, the person who eats it must be cut off from his people.
25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal that has been offered by fire to the LORD is to be eliminated from contact with his people.
26 'And any blood ye do not eat in all your dwellings, of fowl, or of beast;
26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.
26 You are not to eat any form of blood in any of your dwellings, whether it's from birds or animals.
27 any person who eateth any blood, even that person hath been cut off from his people.'
27 Any person who eats any blood, even that person shall be cut off from his people.’”
27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
27 Whoever eats any blood, that person must be cut off from his people.”
27 Any person who eats any form of blood is to be eliminated from contact with his people.'"
29 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, He who is bringing near the sacrifice of his peace-offerings to Jehovah doth bring in his offering to Jehovah from the sacrifice of his peace-offerings;
29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
29 “Tell the Israelites: The one who presents a fellowship sacrifice to the Lord must bring an offering to the Lord from his sacrifice.
29 "Tell the Israelis that whoever brings a peace offering sacrifice to the LORD is to bring his offering to the LORD from the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
30 his own hands do bring in the fire-offerings of Jehovah, the fat beside the breast, it he doth bring in with the breast, to wave it -- a wave-offering before Jehovah.
30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
30 He is to bring the offering made by fire with his own hands to the LORD. He is to bring the fat with the breast, since the breast is to be waved as a raised offering to the LORD.
31 'And the priest hath made perfume with the fat on the altar, and the breast hath been Aaron's and his sons;
31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.
31 The priest is to burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
31 The priest will burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
32 and the right leg ye do make a heave-offering to the priest of the sacrifices of your peace-offerings;
32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.
32 From the sacrifices of your peace offerings give the right thigh to the priest as a raised offering to the LORD.
33 he of the sons of Aaron who is bringing near the blood of the peace-offerings, and the fat, his is the right leg for a portion.
33 The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, the right thigh shall be his as his portion.
33 He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
33 The son of Aaron who presents the blood of the fellowship offering and the fat will have the right thigh as a portion.
33 The descendant of Aaron's sons who brings the blood and the fat from the peace offering is to keep the right thigh for his own portion,
34 'For the breast of the wave-offering, and the leg of the heave-offering, I have taken from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, and I give them to Aaron the priest, and to his sons, by a statute age-during, from the sons of Israel.'
34 For I have taken (AB)the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the (r)contribution from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their due forever from the sons of Israel.
34 For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
34 I have taken from the Israelites the breast of the presentation offering and the thigh of the contribution from their fellowship sacrifices, and have assigned them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a permanent portion(k)(AG) from the Israelites.”
34 since I've taken the breast and the thigh as raised offerings from the sacrifices of peace offerings of the Israelis and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as their perpetual portion from the Israelis."
35 This is the anointing of Aaron, and the anointing of his sons out of the fire-offerings of Jehovah, in the day he hath brought them near to act as priest to Jehovah,
35 ‘This is (s)that which is consecrated to Aaron and (t)that (AC)which is consecrated to his sons from the offerings by fire to the Lord, in that day when he presented them to serve as priests to the Lord.
35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;
35 This is the consecrated portion for Aaron and his descendants from the offerings made by fire to the LORD, the day they were presented to be priests to the LORD.
36 which Jehovah hath commanded to give to them in the day of His anointing them, from the sons of Israel -- a statute age-during to their generations.
36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.
36 This is what the LORD had commanded to give them the day he anointed them from among the Israelis a perpetual portion for their generations.
37 This is the law for burnt-offering, for present, and for sin-offering, and for guilt-offering, and for consecrations, and for a sacrifice of the peace-offerings,
37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;
37 This is the regulation concerning burnt, grain, sin, guilt, and installation offerings, along with the sacrifice for peace offerings.
38 which Jehovah hath commanded Moses in Mount Sinai, in the day of his commanding the sons of Israel to bring near their offerings to Jehovah, in the wilderness of Sinai.
38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.
38 This is what the LORD had commanded Moses on Mount Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelis to bring their offerings to the LORD in the Sinai wilderness.
