Jesus Appears To His Disciples

³⁵ They began describing in detail what had happened on the road, and how Jesus was recognized by them when He broke the bread. ³⁶ While they were talking about this, Jesus Himself [suddenly] stood among them and said to them, “Peace be to you.” ³⁷ But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a spirit.
