Luke 9:44

Jesus Again Foretells His Death

⁴³ And all were astonished at the majesty of God.And all being astonished at all things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, ⁴⁴  You place these words in your ears: for the Son of man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men. ⁴⁵ And they did not understand this word, and it was hidden from them, in order that they should not understand it: and they were afraid to ask Him concerning this word.

Luke 9:22

Saying, That it behooved the Son of man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be killed, and to rise the third day.
