John The Baptist Begins His Ministry

¹ Now in those days came John the baptist preaching in the desert part of Judea, ² and saying, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand: ³ for this is He who was spoken of by Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the desert, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."
