²⁹ Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to imagine that the Deity is like to gold, or silver, or stone, carved by the art and device of man. ³⁰ Wherefore though God overlooked the times of this ignorance, He now requireth all men every where to repent. ³¹ Because He hath fixed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by that man whom He hath appointed thereto; having given assurance of it to all men, by raising Him from the dead.
