And when Aaron looked upon Miriam and saw that she was leprous, he said unto Moses, "Oh I beseech thee my lord, put not the sin upon us which we have foolishly committed and sinned. Oh, let her not be as one that came dead out of his mother's womb: for half her flesh is eaten away." And Moses cried unto the LORD saying, "Oh God, heal her." And the LORD said unto Moses, "If her father had spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the host seven days, and after that let her be received in again." And Miriam was shut out of the host seven days: and the people removed not, till she was brought in again.
