2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

2 Awake, harp and lyre;I will awaken the dawn!

2 Wake up, harp and lyre!I will wake up the dawn.(B)

2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will wake up at dawn.

3 For, great, above the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, and, as far as the skies, thy faithfulness.

4 Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And, above all the earth, be thy glory.

4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

4 For Your (B)lovingkindness is great (C)above the heavens,And Your truth reaches to the skies.

4 For Your faithful love is higher than the heavens,and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.(D)

4 For your gracious love extends to the sky, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

5 To the end thy beloved ones may be delivered, Oh save thou with thy right hand and answer me!

5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

5 (D)Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,And Your glory above all the earth.

5 God, be exalted above the heavens,(E)and let Your glory be over the whole earth.(F)

5 May you be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory be over all the earth.

6 God, hath spoken in his holiness, I will exult! I will apportion Shechem! And, the Vale of Succoth, will I measure out;

6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

6 (E)That Your beloved may be delivered,Save with Your right hand, and answer me!

6 Save with Your right hand and answer meso that those You love may be rescued.(G)

6 In order that those you love may be rescued, deliver with your power and answer me!

7 Mine, is Gilead - mine, Manasseh, but, Ephraim, is the defence of my head, Judah, is my commander's staff;

7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 God has spoken in His (b)holiness:“I will exult, I will portion out ShechemAnd measure out the valley of Succoth.

7 God has spoken in His sanctuary:(c)“I will triumph!I will divide up Shechem.(H)I will apportion the Valley of Succoth.(I)

7 God had promised in his sanctuary: "I will triumph and divide Shechem, then I will measure the valley of Succoth!

8 Moab, is my wash-bowl, Upon Edom, will I throw my shoe, Over Philistia, raise a shout of triumph.

8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

8 “Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine;Ephraim also is the (c)helmet of My head;(F)Judah is My (d)scepter.

8 Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine,and Ephraim is My helmet;(J)Judah is My scepter.(K)

8 Gilead and Manasseh belong to me, while Ephraim is my chief stronghold and Judah is my scepter.

9 Who will conduct me to a fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?

9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

9 “Moab is My washbowl;Over Edom I shall throw My shoe;Over Philistia I will shout aloud.”

9 Moab is My washbasin;(L)I throw My sandal on Edom.(M)I shout in triumph over Philistia.”(N)

9 Moab is my washbasin; I will fling my shoe on Edom and shout over Philistia."

10 Hast not thou, O God, rejected us? and wilt not go forth, O God, with our hosts.

10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

10 (G)Who will bring me into the besieged city?Who (e)will lead me to Edom?

10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?Who will lead me to Edom?(O)

10 Who will lead me to the fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?

11 In God, shall we do valiantly, He himself, therefore, shall tread down our adversaries.

11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

11 Have not You Yourself, O God, (H)rejected us?And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?

11 God, haven’t You rejected us?God, You do not march out with our armies.(P)

11 God, you have rejected us, have you not, since you did not march out with our army, God?
