and committing adultery

Therefore shall the land

and every one that dwelleth

'amal

therein shall languish

Chay

with the beasts

שׂדי שׂדה

Sadeh

of the field

and with the fowls

שׁמה שׁמים

Shamayim

Dag

yea, the fishes

of the sea

Riyb

are as they that strive

Therefore shalt thou fall

in the day

and the prophet

לילה ליל ליל

Layil

with thee in the night

Damah

and I will destroy

for lack of knowledge

because thou hast rejected

I will also reject

Kahan

thee, that thou shalt be no priest

Shakach

to me seeing thou hast forgotten

the law

I will also forget

As they were increased
