'Mount of Olives' in the Bible

David was climbing the slope of the Mount of Olives, weeping as he ascended. His head was covered, and he was walking barefoot. Each of the people with him covered their heads and went up, weeping as they ascended.

On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, forming a huge valley, so that half the mountain will move to the north and half to the south.

When they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples,

While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

He went out and made His way as usual to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him.

But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
