'Sing to the Lord' in the Bible
And he saith, 'Let it not be, I Pray thee, displeasing to the Lord, and I speak: peradventure there are found there thirty?' and He saith, 'I do it not, if I find there thirty.'
And he saith, 'Let it not be, I pray Thee, displeasing to the Lord, and I speak only this time: peradventure there are found there ten?' and He saith, 'I do not destroy it, because of the ten.'
Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, singing,“I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously;The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
Miriam answered them,“Sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously and is highly exalted;The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.”
And it will be over Aaron's brow, so that Aaron will be responsible for any error in all the holy offerings made by the children of Israel; it will be on his brow at all times, so that their offerings may be pleasing to the Lord.
If the offering is a burned offering of the herd, let him give a male without a mark: he is to give it at the door of the Tent of meeting so that he may be pleasing to the Lord.
Then he is to wash its entrails and legs with water. After this, the priest is to offer all of it on the altar a burnt offering by fire, an aroma that will be pleasing to the LORD."

Then he is to bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests. He is to take a handful of fine flour, the olive oil, and all of the frankincense. Then the priest is to offer a memorial offering by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
Then Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, over the burnt offering that has been placed on the wood over the fire, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
And Aaron said to Moses, You have seen that today they have made their sin-offering and their burned offering before the Lord, and such things as these have come on me. If I had taken the sin-offering as food today, would it have been pleasing to the Lord?
And when you give a peace offering to the Lord, do it in the way which is pleasing to the Lord.
If any of it is used for food on the third day, it is a disgusting thing and will not be pleasing to the Lord.
So that it may be pleasing to the Lord, let him give a male, without any mark, from among the oxen or the sheep or the goats.
But anything which has a mark you may not give; it will not make you pleasing to the Lord.
And whoever makes a peace-offering to the Lord, in payment of an oath or as a free offering, from the herd or the flock, if it is to be pleasing to the Lord, let it be free from any mark or damage.
“Hear, O kings; listen, O rulers!I will sing to the Lord,I will sing praise to the Lord, the God of Israel.
Now these words and Solomon's request were pleasing to the Lord.

When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his haters be at peace with him.
To do what is right and true is more pleasing to the Lord than an offering.
Sing to Yahweh, for He has done glorious things.Let this be known throughout the earth.
Sing to the Lord a new song,Sing His praise from the end of the earth!You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,You islands and coastlands, and those who inhabit them [sing His praise]!
Have I given orders for such a day as this? a day for keeping yourselves from pleasure? is it only a question of the bent head, of putting on haircloth, and being seated in the dust? is this what seems to you a holy day, well-pleasing to the Lord?
Sing to the Lord! Praise the Lord!For He has rescued the life of the needy oneFrom the hand of evildoers.
Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in ancient years.
