Then saith He to the man, "Stretch forth your hand." And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole as the other.
At that time Jesus went on the sabbath through the grain-fields; and His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain, and to eat.
And I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account concerning it in the day of judgment;
For, as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
But the Pharisees, having gone out, held a consultation against Him, that they might destroy Him.
Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven.
"Broods of vipers! how can ye speak good things, being yourselves evil? For, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
Then there was brought to Him a demoniac, blind, and dumb; and He healed him, so that the dumb man spake and saw.
Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered Him, saying, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign from Thee."
But Jesus, knowing it, withdrew thence; and many followed Him, and He healed them all.
He will not strive, nor cry aloud; nor will any one hear His voice in the streets:
A bruised reed will He not break, and a smoking flax will He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory;
And, if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how, then, shall his kingdom stand
And, behold, a man having a withered hand; and they questioned Him, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath?" that they might accuse Him.
And, if I by Beelzebub cast out the demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges.
Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and seize upon his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.
The good man, out of his good treasure, puts forth good things; and the evil man, out of his evil treasure, puts forth evil things.
And He said to them "What man of you who shall have one sheep; and, if this should fall into a pit on the sabbath, will not lay hold of it, and raise it up?
How much better, therefore, is a man than a sheep! Therefore, it is lawful to do well on the sabbath."
But He said to them, "Did ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and those with him?
And, having passed on thence, He came into their synagogue.
And, if ye had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' ye would not have condemned the guiltless;
But the Pharisees, seeing it, said to Him, "Behold, Thy disciples are doing that which it is not lawful to do on a sabbath."
how he entered into the house of God, and ate the showbread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but only for the priests?
Or did ye not read in the law that, on the sabbath, the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are guiltless?
While He was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and His brothers were standing without, seeking to speak to Him.
And He, answering, said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation is seeking after a sign; and no sign shall be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.
for by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned."
But, if I by the Spirit of God cast out the demons, then the Kingdom of God came upon you unexpectedly.
"But, when the unclean spirit goes out from the man, it passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and finds it not.
Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree worthless and its fruit worthless; for from the fruit the tree is known.
But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, "This Man doth not cast out the demons, except by Beelzebub, prince of the demons."
And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven, neither in this age nor in that which is to come.
And, knowing their thoughts, He said to them, "Every kingdom, divided against itself, is brought to naught; and every city or house, divided against itself, shall not stand.
For whosoever does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother."

"The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
[And one said to Him, "Behold, Thy mother and Thy brothers are standing without, seeking to speak to Thee."]
But He, answering, said to him that told Him, "Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?"
Then it goes and takes along with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and, entering in, they dwell there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation."
And stretching forth His hand toward His disciples, He said, "Behold, My mother and My brothers!
Then it says, 'I will return into my house whence I came out;' and, having come, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and adorned.
