Now in those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Hellenistic Jews among them complained against the native Hebrews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the twelve summoned the congregation of the disciples and said, "It is not right for us to neglect the word of God in order to serve tables. read more. Now those who had been scattered went about preaching the word. Philip went down to a city of Samaria and proclaimed Christ to them.

But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this scripture he told him the good news of Jesus.
