And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there assembled to battle, and the men of Israel had gone away:

Next to him [was] Shamma, the son of Agee the Hararite. When [the] Philistines assembled at Lehi, a plot of the field was there filled with lentils, and the army fled there from the presence of [the] Philistines.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had assembled all the people, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men, and Asahel.

And he passeth over through all the tribes of Israel to Abel, and to Beth-Maachah, and to all the Berites, and they are assembled, and go in also after him,

So David assembled all the troops and went to Rabbah; he fought against it and captured it.

And the children of Benjamin assembled themselves after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of a hill.

And when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they assembled themselves.

David assembled the army that was with him. He appointed leaders of thousands and leaders of hundreds.

Then said the king unto Amasa, Assemble me the men of Judah, within three days, - and, thou, here, take thy stand!

So Amasa went, to assemble Judah, - but he tarried beyond the fixed time, which he had appointed him.

And the people of Israel were smitten there before the servants of David, and there was a great slaughter there that day of twenty thousand men.

Now therefore, assemble the rest of the troops, lay siege to the city, and capture it. Otherwise I will be the one to capture the city, and it will be named after me.”

And there was again a battle, at Gath; and there was a man there of great stature, that had on each hand six fingers, and on each foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to Raphah.
