not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, {because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded (LXX/NT)} them, says LORD

Thus says LORD: If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there shall not be day and night in their season,

And I will give the men who have transgressed my covenant, who have not performed the words of the covenant which they made before me, when they cut the calf in two and passed between the parts of it,

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,

and say thou to them, Thus says LORD, the God of Israel: Cursed be the man who does not hear the words of this covenant,

And LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked each one in the stubbornness of his evil heart. Therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.
