And John himself had his raiment of camels hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

nor shalt thou swear by thy head, for thou canst not make one hair white or black.

And immediately going up to Jesus, he said, Hail, Rabbi! and kissed him.

And having platted a crown of thorns, they put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and bowing the knee before him, they mocked him, saying, Hail, king of the Jews!

And lo! Jesus met them, saying, All hail! And they went up, and laid hold of his feet, and knelt down before him.
