And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were allotted unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the one half of the children of Machir according to their families.

And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side of the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them in front of mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.

And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spoke unto them:

And their territory was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is near Rabbah;

And reigned over mount Hermon, and over Salcah, and over all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half of Gilead, to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and a half tribe on the other side of Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave no inheritance among them.

And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gathrimmon with its pasture lands; two cities.

And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beeshterah with its pasture lands; two cities.

Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side of Jordan, westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,

And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh according their families.
