And, if any one builds on the foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every manner of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the chief corner-stone;
