Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering, and burnt-offerings and offering for sin thou hast not chosen, neither delighted in, which are offered by the law:

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I am not come to send peace, but a sword.

And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Finally, brethren, farewel: be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
