And those whom he predestined, he also called; and those whom he called, he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.




You know very well that we treated each of you the way a father treats his children. We comforted and encouraged you, urging you to live in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

At all times we are obligated to thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God chose you to be the first fruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through faith in the truth. With this purpose in mind, he called you through our proclamation of the gospel so that you would obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.


Therefore, holy brothers, partners in a heavenly calling, keep your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was in all God's household,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as they did when they provoked me during the time of testing in the wilderness.







But when God, who set me apart before I was born and who called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me so that I might proclaim him among the gentiles, I did not confer with another human being at any time,

Nevertheless, everyone should live the life that the Lord gave him and to which God called him. This is my rule in all the churches. Was anyone circumcised when he was called? He should not try to change that. Was anyone uncircumcised when he was called? He should not get circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but obeying God's commandments is everything. read more.
Everyone should stay in the same condition in which he was called. Were you a slave when you were called? Do not let that bother you. Of course, if you have a chance to become free, take advantage of the opportunity.

May the God of peace himself make you holy in every way. And may your whole being spirit, soul, and body remain blameless when our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, appears. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will continue to be faithful.

I will sing forever about the gracious love of the LORD; from generation to generation I will declare your faithfulness with my mouth.

If I have fought with wild animals in Ephesus from merely human motives, what do I get out of it? If the dead are not raised, "Let's eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
