But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that he might buy off those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption.

for my eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly things in Christ, according as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love, having predestinated us for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, read more.
for the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he has shown us favor in the Beloved, in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace, which he has made to abound to us in all wisdom and understanding, by making known to us the mystery of his will according to his good purpose which he had before established in himself, for a dispensation at the fullness of the times, in order that he might bring together for himself all things in the Christ, both those which are in the heavens, and those which are on earth; in him in whom we have obtained our portion, having been predestinated according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, that we should be for the praise of his glory; even we, who before had hope in the Christ:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the acknowledgment of him, that, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to ward us who believe in accordance with the energy of his mighty power, read more.
which he made active in the Christ when he raised him from the dead, and caused him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, high above every principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come; and subjected all things under his feet, and made him head over all things for the church,

but God, being rich in mercy, on account of his great love with which he loved us, made alive with Christ even us, being dead to our offenses, (by grace you are saved,) and raised us up, and made us sit together in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus; read more.
that he might show, in the ages to come, the exceeding riches of his grace by his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through the faith; and this matter is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not by works, lest any one should boast. For we are his workman ship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

for it pleased the Father that all his fullness should dwell in him, and by him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace by the blood of his cross; by him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; but we were eye-witnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came to him from the magnificent glory a voice, such as this: This is my beloved Son, in whom I delight. And this voice, which came from heaven, we heard when we were with him in the holy mount;

When he had gone out, Jesus said: Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him.

Jesus spoke these words, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son may also glorify thee; as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all that thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent. read more.
I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, Father, glorify me with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have made known thy name to the men that thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them, to me, and they have kept thy word. Now they know that all things that thou hast given me are from thee; for the words which thou gavest me I have given them; and they have received them, and they know surely that I came forth from thee, and they believe that thou didst send me. I pray for them; I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world; but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep in thy name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are one. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me, I have kept; and none of them is lost but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled. And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not pray thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the Evil One. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, so I send them into the world; and for them I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified through the truth. I pray, not for these only, but for those also who shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one; I in them, and thou ID me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I wish that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me; for thou didst love me before the foundation of the world.

The God of Abra ham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom you delivered up, and whom you rejected in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to release him. because you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from your vain mode of life received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and blemish, who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you, read more.

Little children, it is the last time; and, as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now there are many antichrists; by which we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us: for, if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

GOD, who in many parts and in many ways spoke in ancient times to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom, also, he made the ages;

because you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from your vain mode of life received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and blemish, who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you,

THAT which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled concerning the Word of life; (the life also was manifested, and we have seen, and do testify, and declare to you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us;) that which we have seen and heard, we declare it to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

because you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from your vain mode of life received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and blemish, who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you,

that word, you know, which was published through the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the immersion that John preached; how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit, and with power; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all that he did, both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew by hanging him on a tree. read more.
Him God raised up the third day, and caused him to appear, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were be fore appointed by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him, after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that this is he who has been appointed by God as the judge of the living and the dead. To him all the prophets bear testimony, that whoever believes on him shall receive remission of sins through his name.

Yet the times of this ignorance God overlooked; but now, he commands all men everywhere to repent: because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world, in righteousness, by the man whom he has chosen, giving to all assurance of this, by having raised him from the dead.

Behold, how great love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God! For this reason, the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every one that has this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

who through him do believe in God who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God. Having purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit, to unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently, having been begotten again, not with corruptible seed, but with incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
