Ye women likewise, be subject to your own husbands, that if any believe not the word, they may yet without the word be gained over by the deportment of the wives, beholding your chaste conversation in the fear of God.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honour thy father and thy mother, (which is the first commandment with promise,) that it may be well with thee, and thou shalt be long-lived upon the earth. read more.
And ye fathers, do not exasperate your children: but educate them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Servants, obey them that are your masters according to the flesh, with reverential fear, in the simplicity of your heart, as unto Christ: not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good-will, as serving the Lord rather than men: knowing that whatever good any one doth, he shall receive the reward of it from the Lord, whether He be a slave or free.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, he being the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man was not of the woman; but the woman was taken out of the man: nor was the man created for the sake of the woman, but the woman for the man.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord: for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and the saviour of that body. As the church then is subject to Christ, so also should wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Now as to the things concerning which ye wrote to me: it were good for a man not to touch a woman.
