For I had letters of introduction from them to our fellow Jews at Damascus, and I was on my way to that place, to bring those whom I might find there prisoners to Jerusalem for punishment. I can testify that they are zealous for the honor of God; but they are not guided by true insight, For, in their ignorance of the Divine Righteousness, and in their eagerness to set up a righteousness of their own, they refused to accept with submission the Divine Righteousness.
They will expel you from their Synagogues; indeed the time is coming when any one who kills you will think that he is making an offering to God.
