Go forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth: say, Yahweh has redeemed his servant Jacob.

For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God: Yahweh your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth. Yahweh didn't set his love on you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples: but because Yahweh loves you, and because he would keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, has Yahweh brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: "Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.

"Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and worked redemption for his people;

I prayed to Yahweh, and said, "Lord Yahweh, don't destroy your people and your inheritance, that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

You shall not wrest the justice [due] to the foreigner, [or] to the fatherless, nor take the widow's clothing to pledge; but you shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt, and Yahweh your God redeemed you there: therefore I command you to do this thing.

To him who alone does great wonders; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who by understanding made the heavens; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who spread out the earth above the waters; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who made the great lights; for his loving kindness endures forever: The sun to rule by day; for his loving kindness endures forever; The moon and stars to rule by night; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever; And brought out Israel from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever; With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who divided the Red Sea apart; for his loving kindness endures forever; And made Israel to pass through its midst; for his loving kindness endures forever; But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who led his people through the wilderness; for his loving kindness endures forever: To him who struck great kings; for his loving kindness endures forever; And killed mighty kings; for his loving kindness endures forever: Sihon king of the Amorites; for his loving kindness endures forever; Og king of Bashan; for his loving kindness endures forever; And gave their land as an inheritance; for his loving kindness endures forever; Even a heritage to Israel his servant; for his loving kindness endures forever: Who remembered us in our low estate; for his loving kindness endures forever; And has delivered us from our adversaries; for his loving kindness endures forever:

Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness, it upheld him. He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle. read more.

"A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob," says Yahweh.

I will make mention of the loving kindnesses of Yahweh, [and] the praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses. For he said, "Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely:" so he was their Savior. In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
