Boasting » Boasting in God
the humble will hear and be glad.
we will praise Your name forever.
that he understands and knows Me
that I am Yahweh, showing faithful love,
justice, and righteousness on the earth,
for I delight in these things.
This is the Lord’s declaration.
Now if you call yourself a Jew, and rest in the law, boast in God,
in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.
Delight » What the lord delights in
but an accurate weight is His delight.
Then Samuel said:
Does the Lord take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
Look: to obey is better than sacrifice,
to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

[This is] the Lord's declaration.

He does not hold on to His anger forever,
because He delights in faithful love.

But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world.

Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; proclaim His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell about all His wonderful works! Honor His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
