And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith to him, They have no wine. read more.
Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? my hour is not yet come. His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them to the brim. And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear to the governor of the feast. And they bore it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was; (but the servants who drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith to him, Every man at the beginning presenteth good wine; and when men have well drank, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.


And when he had come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and they continued there not many days.


Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,


But they shall proceed no further: for their folly will be manifest to all men, as theirs also was.


For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known, and come abroad.

The same came to Jesus by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.


And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?



Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh for a sign; and there shall no sign been to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them, and departed.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, tempting him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek for a sign? Verily I say to you, There shall no sign be given to this generation.
